Expert: Job market 'showing signs of recovery'
The financial, engineering and healthcare sectors look like strong possible sources for new sales jobs, with one expert predicting an overall upturn in the three industries.
Peter Searle, chief executive of Adecco Group UK & Ireland, told Recruiter that as well as evidence of business confidence returning across the board, recruiters are also predicting a more positive outlook for 2010.
"The job market is showing signs of revival across every sector, but this is strongest in engineering, healthcare and finance," he explained.
Mr Searle added that specialist recruitment agencies are making the process more "streamlined and efficient", helping their clients save time and focus their resources into finding the best candidates.
Backing up his comments, the latest Morgan McKinley Monitor revealed that the number of new City jobs has reached its highest levels since August 2008.
This is likely to mean more financial sales jobs are created over the next year, with the monitor also showing that new positions in the capital's financial services industry rose by 21 per cent between February and March 2010.
As a recruitment provider to many of the UKs major banks, mortgage lenders and building societies Aaron Wallis have a deserved reputation within Financial Services recruitment. Their dedicated FS consultants recruit sales professionals across Retail Banking and Financial Services including IFAs and Mortgage Broking.
